Booking Policy

📅 Bookings

All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
We transport both drivable and non-drivable vehicles across the North Island.
If your vehicle is non-drivable, please let us know at the time of booking so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Pickup and delivery times will be confirmed separately after your booking is reviewed.

💳 Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required once confirmed your booking.
The remaining balance is due upon delivery.
Payment must be made by bank transfer.
Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

✅ Booking Confirmation

After booking confirmation and deposit payment, a confirmation email or text will be sent.
Please ensure your contact details are accurate so we can get in touch to confirm the details.

📍 Pickup & Drop-off

Pickup and drop-off addresses must be provided at the time of booking or shortly after.
The vehicle must be accessible at the agreed location and ready for transport.
Please ensure there is adequate access for our transport vehicle (no low-hanging branches, or obstructions).
The vehicle should have a minimum of 1/4 tank of fuel for loading and unloading purposes.

🔁 Changes & Cancellations

Bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled by contacting us directly.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will incur a 15% cancellation fee.
No-shows or failure to provide access to the vehicle at the agreed location will result in forfeiture of the deposit and may result in future booking restrictions.

🛡️ Vehicle Condition & Liability

We will photograph the condition of your vehicle at pickup and delivery.
Any pre-existing damage should be disclosed at the time of booking.
Vehicles are transported at owner’s risk. We recommend ensuring your vehicle insurance includes cover for “in transit between places in New Zealand.”
We are not liable for mechanical faults, pre-existing damage, or issues arising from undisclosed vehicle conditions.

🚫 General Terms

All personal belongings must be removed from the vehicle before pickup.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left inside the vehicle.
By booking with Central Cars & Transport Ltd, you agree to these terms and conditions.
